He’s not the first manager to heap praise on Liverpool’s forward line, and he certainly won’t be the last.
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has been speaking of the threat posed to his side by the Reds’ front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino.
Quoted by Dominic King of the Daily Mail, Valverde said:
They are a really powerful team with an extraordinary forward line. If you are absent from the game for 5 minutes, they will lock you into your half. We need two good games to go through.

The trio have combined for over sixty goals this year, and have taken it in turns to hit form and are a critical factor in Liverpool’s success to this point in the season.
Firmino is an injury doubt for Wednesday’s clash, and one of Divock Origi or Daniel Sturridge could be deployed in his place. Either way, it seems as though Barca will be wary of the threat carried by the pair of all-star wingers.
