Liverpool have been named as one of ‘many clubs’ interested in signing Leeds United forward Raphinha.
The 24-year-old has been a revelation since arriving in Yorkshire from French Ligue 1 club Rennes for £17million (BBC).
Having recently starred for Brazil, Raphinha is now being recognised on the international stage.
According to reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano, as cited by Anfield Watch on Twitter, the Reds have the exciting winger on their radar.
Following an outstanding 15 direct goal contributions in 30 Premier League outings last season, the three-times capped ace has continued to impress despite Leeds’ early struggles this term moreover.
So far the versatile forward, hailed as ‘electric’ by Jermaine Beckford, has scored three goals in seven games – earning a 7.10 Sofascore rating in the process.

Perhaps the greatest and only drawback to bringing Raphinha to Anfield is the Brazilian’s preferred position being in direct competition with a certain Mohamed Salah.
Although the fleet-footed star can be played across a variety of attacking roles, there is no doubt where both would feel most comfortable.
Valued at £28.80million and under contract at Elland Road until 2024 (Transfermarkt), spending in excess of the market value for a player who mightn’t be the first choice seems unlikely.
