Currently valued at £27million and under contract until 2023 at the Camp Nou (Transfermarkt), there is certainly a bargain deal to be had for the Brazilian.
Capped on 63 occasions at senior level and having dazzled the Anfield faithful during a 54 goal and 43 assist laden career on Merseyside, Jurgen Klopp is certainly well versed in the talents available.
However, injury issues have begun to take hold and the German boss has certainly shied away from the prospect of allowing a return previously.
That said, there remains an unbelievable talent on offer, with qualities that the current squad doesn’t truly possess. Klopp would be wise to consider all possibilities, particularly at the right price.
One thing that wouldnt sit well with Kopite would be linking up with ex-Anfield chief Rafa Benitez at Everton.
