Liverpool have officially confirmed the departure of central defender Nat Phillips on a temporary loan move to AFC Bournemouth.
The 24-year-old has joined the Championship promotion chasers until the end of the season and looks sure to play a huge part in any push to return to the Premier League.
Described as playing an ‘instrumental’ role in the Reds reaching the UEFA Champions League, Phillips has already forged a special bond with an adoring Anfield fanbase.
Taking to Twitter in the wake of the move, Liverpool fans were quick to wish the English defender well for the remainder of the campaign.

Allowing the £7.2million valued ace to leave on loan may suggest either a lack of suitors willing to meet the asking price or a long-term future on Merseyside.
Now experienced at the Premier League level, the no-nonsense Bolton-born defender will no doubt be a huge boost to Bournemouth’s promotion chances.
Good luck, Nat.
