Liverpool reportedly hold a ‘serious interest’ in Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma.
The Reds were initially linked with the 24-year-old ace during the summer whilst still an AFC Bournemouth player.
Despite earning a big-money £21.3million move to La Liga in August (Sky Sports), the Anfield club are believed to be pressing on with their scouting mission.
That’s according to a report from Dutch outlet Voetbal International, as cited by LFC Transfer Room on Twitter.
The report claims that the Reds will send scouts to watch the twice capped Holland international face arch-rivals Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.
Viewed as a possible ‘successor’ to Sadio Mane, Danjuma has scored three times in six appearances this season – including a strike on a European debut against Atalanta.

Signing a player without top-level European experience always seemed an unlikely risk for the club to take on Danjuma.
However, having made an impressive start to life in Spain, the former Club Brugge starlet could be about to earn an even bigger transfer.
Immensely versatile and possessing a plethora of key attacking attributes, Klopp’s interest should come as little surprise – albeit too soon to preempt a Mane replacement.
Valued at just £13.5million and under a new contract until 2026 (Transfermarkt), Liverpool would be wise to act before that valuation increases yet further.
