After much speculation of a potential fondness, Liverpool are now reportedly set to join the race for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
In the market for attacking additions, perhaps only after player sales, the Reds have been named alongside Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal in holding an admiration in the 6’3 Swede.
The 21-year-old rose to prominence last term in La Liga and is currently enjoying a superb Euro 2020 tournament.
According to a report from Spanish outlet AS, as cited by Sport Witness on Twitter, the Anfield club are entering the frame for a potential swoop.

The report suggests Sociedad would be looking for Isak’s entire €70million (£60million) release clause in order to sanction a sale this summer.
Already capped 25 times at senior level by Sweden, the towering centre-forward scored 17 goals in the Spanish top-flight last season – firing the San Sebastien based club to a Europa League spot.

Valued at £36million and under contract in Spain until 2024 (Transfermarkt), the mooted £60million fee wouldn’t represent too ridiculous a sum for a player of Isak’s talent, age and potential.
Brought in perhaps on the back of a departure for Divock Origi, the Swede would replace the Belgian’s role in Klopp’s squad with the potential to oust Roberto Firmino on occasion.
Predominantly operating as a central forward, the ace’s height and power, whilst also possessing impressive dribbling ability, would provide the Reds with a new dynamic in attack.
