Liverpool have once again been named as suitors for Sampdoria attacking midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Danish ace was extensively linked with a move to Anfield during the summer following an impressive showing in the European Championships.
Now the 21-year-old has once again been touted with a move to Merseyside, although the Reds may face competition from Juventus, AC Milan & Lyon.
That’s according to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, as cited by ThinkLFCTV on Twitter.
Damsgaard scored twice and provided one assist during the Euros whilst earning an impressive 7.28 Sofascore rating over the summer.
This season has been a quieter start for the versatile Dane, who is yet to contribute directly to a goal in seven appearances across all competitions.

Signing Damsgaard would offer Jurgen Klopp’s squad a huge boost in flexibility.
Capable of operating centrally and wide in both attacking and more conventional midfield positions, the Danish starlet has also played as part of a front three on occasion.
That remarkable versatility and impressive attributes would lend itself ideally to Klopp’s ranks.
Valued at £18million and under contract until 2024 (Transfermarkt), this is a transfer that would fall into the realms of affordability for Liverpool and the lure of Champions League football could sway Damsgaard to Anfield.
