Liverpool have been handed a potential boost in any summer pursuit of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season but had previously been expected to sign a new deal.
However, it would appear that the parties are further apart than ever and the dazzling Argentinian is facing the prospect of moving on as a free agent having been linked to the Reds recently.
That’s according to a report from Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Twitter by Football Transfers.

It’s claimed that the Serie A giants are ‘not worried’ about the prospect of losing the 32-cap ace.
So far this season Dybala – once hailed as ‘special’ by Michael Laudrup – has scored 12 times and provided six assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.

Whilst the contract expiry of the £36million valued star and Liverpool’s interest aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive, signing a high-calibre operator without a fee would be a superb capture.
Boasting a trophy-laden career already as well as a wide range of outstanding attacking attributes, Dybala would be a worthwhile addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Capable of playing across the frontline and as a second striker, the Argentine would supplement Roberto Firmino brilliantly at Anfield and should be a top target as a free agent.
