Ozan Kabak may have had his early detractors after some less than convincing opening displays following his arrival on loan from Schalke on deadline day.
In part culpable for a horror mix up with Alisson Becker against Leicester City, almost since that exact moment the Turkish centre-back has grown into life in a Liverpool shirt.
Having recently turned 21 years old, Kabak would seem to have bags of potential and the Reds could look to activate an £18m clause to make the switch permanent at the end of the season.
Although Jurgen Klopp’s side came up short this week against Real Madrid, the youngster suitably impressed once again, prompting a compilation to appear on social media.

Impressive showreel aside, Kabak’s performance in numbers was equally noteworthy – completing 84 per cent of passes, blocking one shot and making one clearance (Sofascore).

Heavily linked with RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate in recent weeks, Klopp could have a big decision to make at the end of the season regarding the direction he goes in.
Capped 10 times by Turkey and valued at £22.5m (Transfermarkt), Kabak has almost certainly proven he is worth the £18m price tag, but could still head back to Germany should Liverpool decide on Konate.
