Jordan Henderson has taken to social media to further along his bid to join Lionel Messi on FIFA 16’s UK cover. He used some professionals to cut the video, some patriotic background noise and maybe a speech writer? Too early to tell.
Hendo laid out a few club aspirations, to get into the Champions League and win a trophy, as well as some personal ones. He hopes to score more worldies than Brazillian teammate Philippe Coutinho and beat Jose Enrique at FIFA.
He did make one legendary promise, though. Following the lead from Alberto Moreno, Henderson promises to do Daniel Sturridge’s wrigglyarm dance after his first goal next season if he’s voted onto the cover.
Henderson displays above-average public speaking skills throughout this video and keeps a straight face until just after his last words. Good effort. About a 7 out of 10 on performance. But as usual for the English midfielder, 10 out of 10 on effort.
