Werder Bremen’s chances of signing Marko Grujic from Liverpool on a loan deal are ‘very good’.
According to claims from German news outlet Deichstube, the Bundesliga outfit are pressing ahead in their pursuit of the midfielder, who looks set to depart Anfield once again this summer.
Grujic spent the duration of last season at Hertha BSC. During his temporary spell in Berlin, he impressed, making 25 appearances and emerging as one of the club’s key players.

The capital club had emerged as potential suitors for the 23-year-old once again this summer, but Deichstube’s report indicates that no move is likely, with the team having already signed Eduard Lowen from 1. FC Nuremberg to bolster their midfield.
It is claimed that a decision on Grujic’s next destination will likely be made next week, as the competition for his signature begins to intensify.
He was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool boss, but the midfielder has only made 14 appearances at senior level for the Reds.
