Liverpool are looking to snap up 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza.
According to Andy Hunter of The Guardian, Allan could be pried from SC Internacional for just £500,000.
The Reds are hoping that Allan will follow fellow youth prospects Bobby Adekanye and Brooks Lennon through the door.
Adekanye’s transfer to Barcelona has been proven illegal, suspending the young Dutchman’s playing status for Barcelona, causing him to leave.
Brooks Lennon joins from American side Real Salt Lake after impressing at the academy level, scoring 31 goals last year.
Meanwhile, Luis Alberto may be heading for the exit, albeit on loan. Deportivo La Coruna are looking to pick the 22-year-old Spaniard off Brendan Rodgers’ squad for the upcoming campaign.
Alberto joined from Sevilla for just under £7million in 2013. Alberto spent last year on loan at Malaga.
