Adrien Rabiot has rejected a third contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain, as Liverpool keenly watch on.

The midfielder’s current deal at the Parc des Princes expires next summer, and reports have suggested Rabiot has no intention to sign on the dotted line any time soon.

Joining PSG in 2010 as a youth product, the now 23-year-old has risen through the ranks in the French capital to become one of the world’s brightest stars.

A versatile midfielder, Rabiot is particularly adept on the ball, and possesses superb vision to pick out a pass from anywhere on the field.

Standing at 6 foot 2 inches, the Saint-Maurice native is also a physical presence in the centre of the park.

Despite not being selected for the French World Cup winning squad, Rabiot still holds a certain amount of international pedigree, having received six senior caps for his country.

Liverpool had been linked with the box-to-box threat, but are understood to have competition in the form of Chelsea for Rabiot’s elusive signature.

Rabiot has made seven appearances for PSG so far this season, scoring one goal.
