Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Barcelona midfielder and Everton loanee Andre Gomes.
The Mirror have reported that the Reds could launch a move for the Portuguese midfielder after his impressive stint on loan at Everton.
Gomes impressed in the Merseyside derby recently and has been one of Everton’s best performers in recent weeks.
Although his performance was not enough to win the derby, Gomes appears to have rediscovered his best form under Marco Silva.
His recent run of form has sparked talk of a permanent move to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Everton do not have the option to buy Gomes as part of their agreement with Barcelona, meaning interest could rise if he continues to impress at Goodison Park.
Be it to join Everton or move elsewhere, Gomes is expected to complete a permanent move away from Barcelona at the end of the season following an unhappy time at the Nou Camp after his move from Valencia.
