Reds face stiff competition in race to sign Dabour
Liverpool will face tough competition if they expect to land Red Bull Salzburg’s Moanes Dabour this month, report Estadio Deportivo, as cited on Sports Mole.
The Spanish outlet says that Dabour is set to be subject of a bid from Valencia, who are on the lookout for a striker following the recent decision to terminate Michy Batshuayi’s loan.
The Spanish side are also credited with an interest in Alvaro Morata, however, Sevilla are reportedly ahead of them in the race for the Chelsea forward.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are not the only side interested in Dabour, with Fulham also keen on signing the 26-year-old this window.
It comes as no surprise that there is huge interest in the player.
He has netted 20 times in 30 appearances this season and has shone most notably in the Europa League, where he has scored six goals in as many games.
The sale of Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth recently would suggest Klopp could be on the lookout for a forward this month.
However, with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi currently in reserve to the brilliant Roberto Firmino, it would come as a shock to many if the Reds did sign Dabour this month.
