Liverpool will not be making a move for Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi this month, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 18-year-old’s future has been the topic of much debate in January, with Bayern Munich hotly-tipped to sign him.
An exit from Stamford Bridge still appears likely, especially considering he has handed in a transfer request.
Hudson-Odoi’s future does not lie at Liverpool, however, despite certain reports claiming the Reds were interested in snapping him up.
The Echo claim that the winger remains “keen” to move to Bayern before the January transfer window closes on Thursday evening.
A late move from the Reds will not happen, with Jurgen Klopp highly unlikely to bring in any new faces in the coming days.
Hudson-Odoi was in sparkling form on Sunday evening, scoring as Chelsea beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in the FA Cup fourth round.
It looks as though it could be his last appearance for the Blues, as he trades the Premier League for the Bundesliga.
