Jurgen Klopp was in typically measured form after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Wednesday.
The Reds missed a chance to go seven points clear of Manchester City, with the performance at Anfield never up to scratch.
The pressure appeared to tell in the second-half and the Foxes were more than deserving of a point.
Despite the disappointment of the result, Klopp is remaining calm about the title race.
Speaking to reporters after the final whistle, he stressed the importance of simply focusing on their own game, rather than on City, too:
The boys are normal human beings, I am a normal human being. We want to win a game and we don’t, so we don’t feel brilliant.
But then we have to talk about what does it mean for the Man City thing? Not too much to be honest.

We have a point more than before. That’s not exactly what we wanted to have, but still everything is fine in the moment.
Now we have a few days to prepare West Ham, and we go again. Then Bournemouth and we go again.
That’s what we do, not counting points and hoping for gaps between us and other teams. We have to win our football games.
That didn’t happen and so we are not happy about that, but nothing more.
There have been slight signs of Liverpool creaking recently, with the Leicester draw preceded by narrow Premier League wins over Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Reds remain in a wonderful position, however, five points clear going into February.
Next up is a trip to West Ham on Monday night, which is set to be another examination of their title credentials.
