Adam Lallana believes the special team spirit that exists at Liverpool will be key to their Premier League title hopes.
The Reds are in their trickiest period of the season so far, having drawn back-to-back games against Leicester and West Ham.
For the first time, doubt appears to be creeping in about their chances of fending of Manchester City, who have gone top of the league on goal difference.
Jurgen Klopp has done so much right since becoming Liverpool manager back in October 2015, but creating a wonderful team spirit has been one of his greatest achievements.
The players all seem to have strong relationships with one another, both on and off the pitch.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Lallana says it is something that can inspire a change in fortunes:

We do things off the pitch together, we fight on the pitch for each other and that’s really what is special.
We’ve lost together, we’ve lost a Champions League final together, and moments like that make you stronger.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint and there are always going to be little hiccups, positive moments, bad moments, injuries, illnesses and suspensions. It’s about coming through it together.
Media is a big part of the world – and of course, they have got to have things to talk about – so part of me is not surprised that it [Liverpool’s form] is a talking point from the outside, but there are times during the season – and in lots of walks of life – when we’ve got to block the noise out and come together.
That togetherness is what keeps you fighting, keeps you focused on what needs to be done and what the important points are.
That’s what we’ll be doing going into the weekend’s game.
The Reds host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, with even a point taking them top again, having played the same number of games as City.
Lallana may start for the second match in succession, depending on the fitness of Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.
