Spurs fearful Liverpool will beat them to Rabiot deal
Tottenham are worried that Liverpool or Barcelona could beat them to the signature of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
According to the Daily Star, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are fearful that they could miss out on a deal, with the player approaching the end of his contract in France.
Rabiot has attracted a wealth of interest from clubs across Europe after not penning a new deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
The Frenchman now looks set to leave PSG at the end of the season, with a number of clubs keen.
Liverpool had been one of the many clubs looking to sign the player, while Barcelona had long been considered favourites.
Rabiot had been linked with an early exit from PSG, with Spurs among the teams who reportedly considered a January swoop.
However, the report claims that the death of the player’s father halted any movement in the new year, with the family keen to put all transfer talks on hold until the summer.
