Liverpool could have to make do without Roberto Firmino for the Merseyside derby this weekend, report the Telegraph.
The Brazilian limped off in the first half of Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Manchester United, having injured his ankle.
Firmino was later seen leaving Old Trafford on crutches, causing much concern among supporters.
The 27-year-old looks a certainty to miss Wednesday’s visit of Watford and his involvement in Sunday’s trip to Everton is also in doubt.
Should he miss both games, it leaves Jurgen Klopp with a selection dilemma in attack.
He could go with either Daniel Sturridge or Divock Origi, but neither look convincing.
Xherdan Shaqiri is also an option, with the Swiss adopting a right-sided role and Mohamed Salah playing up front.
Firmino is a big loss to Liverpool, with so much of their play going through him and his off-the-ball brilliance unrivalled.
Not having him available for a huge derby would be a blow, as the Reds look to stay ahead of Manchester City in the title race.
