Liverpool’s first-team squad took to Melwood to train following their midweek success against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Reds booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition after defeating their German counterparts 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.
Sadio Mane scored two goals either side of a header from Virgil van Dijk, cancelling out Joel Matip’s unfortunate own goal in the first half.
Jurgen Klopp watched on as his side stepped up their preparations for Sunday’s clash with Fulham in the Premier League.
The Reds have the chance to return to the top of the table, with Manchester City in FA Cup quarter-final action against Swansea City this weekend.
Take a look at five things that we spotted in Friday’s training session.
No sign of Mane
Mane stole the show at the Allianz but was nowhere to be seen in the training pictures on Friday. There has been no talk of an injury, but his apparent absence was somewhat peculiar.
Wijnaldum takes full part
Claims have been made to suggest that Georginio Wijnaldum is fatigued. However, he showed no such signs as he participated in full training with the first-team squad.
No sign of Lovren
Dejan Lovren has been nursing a knock recently and there was hope that he’d be fit for the Bayern match. He didn’t feature, and there was no clear sign of him in the Reds’ recent training session.
Moreno's dangerous challenge on Brewster
More amusingly, Alberto Moreno looked to be up to his usual tricks! He was pictured going into a challenge, full-blooded as usual, with a rather high boot on young Rhian Brewster…
No sign of Keita
Naby Keita’s availability for the Fulham clash was always set to be touch and go, but he wasn’t spotted as Liverpool trained ahead of the match.
