Italian giants Lazio are closing in on a deal to sign Alberto Moreno at the end of the season.
According to The Independent, Lazio are set to agree a pre-contract with Moreno, which will see him sign for them on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract at Anfield.
The report claims that Real Betis, Sevilla and Roma are also interested in signing Moreno, but are yet to make an official move for the Spaniard.
Moreno has been frozen out of the Liverpool team this season and has only made two starts in the Premier League – with Andy Robertson the undisputed first-choice at left-back.
His contract at Liverpool expires in the summer and both parties have seemingly decided it is the best time to part ways.
He has made over 100 appearances for the club since joining from Spanish side Sevilla in 2014 for a fee in the region of £12m.
