Pep Guardiola is believed to be furious at the Premier League for their decision to schedule City’s game with Cardiff just days before their FA Cup semi-final.

The Mirror report that the City boss has lambasted the decision, believing that Liverpool may have been given a clear advantage in the title race, which looks set to go down to the wire this season.

The Premier League have been forced to reschedule City’s fixtures after they made the final four in the FA Cup, with the game against Cardiff originally due to be played over the weekend of 6 April.

Over a seven-day period, City will have to face Cardiff in the Premier League, Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final and Tottenham in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-finals.
