Liverpool youngster Rafa Camacho has taken an apparent dig at Jurgen Klopp and the Reds’ coaching staff.

The Portuguese has been one of Liverpool U23s’ most important players this season, often showcasing his versatility.

He was handed his first-team debut in the FA Cup defeat at Wolves back in January.

Camacho was the U23s’ star man on Sunday afternoon, bagging a hat-trick as Neil Critchley’s side thumped Leicester City 6-0 in Premier League 2.

While many would have expected the winger to be in good spirits after the game, he seemed to be in a more spiky mood.

Taking to Instagram, Camacho appeared to criticise Klopp and the coaches for their use of him at Liverpool, saying:

I do not know whose idea it is, but I will prove that they are mistaken about my football.

I’m not a right defender, I’m an attacker who scores goals. This is my DNA.

Happy to score 3 goals and help the team in today’s win vs Leicester.

It is not a post that is likely to go down well with Klopp and others at the club, with Camacho’s future already in doubt after contract talks stalled last week.

He now looks even more likely to move on this summer, as he looks for regular first-team football elsewhere.
