Manchester City eye Liverpool target Joao Felix
Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Liverpool target Joao Felix from Benfica.
The Reds were linked with a swoop for the Portuguese forward recently but face plenty of competition from elsewhere, with their Premier League title rivals now seemingly in the race.
Felix has been excellent for Benfica this season and has stood out, notably in their recent ventures in the Europa League.
The Liga NOS club exited the competition at the quarter-final stages after being defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt on away goals. In the first leg, the 19-year-old netted a fine hat-trick to put his team in the driving seat with a 4-2 win.
Mais Bastidores, as cited by Calciomercato, reports that Manchester City have emerged as potential suitors for the player, whose release clause is said to be set at €120 million.
Felix is set to be highly in demand this summer, and it seems a Premier League tug of war could ensue.
