Juventus have reportedly tabled a contract offer for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has been a long-term target for Liverpool.

The Mirror report that the Italian giants have made the Frenchman a £5.3m-a-year offer, which could rise to £7m depending on performance-based bonuses.

The 24-year-old is expected to leave the French giants when his contract expires in the summer and Liverpool have been monitoring the midfielder over the past six months.

Rabiot is also a target for Premier League rivals Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea, however, no English side have made the player an offer to date.

The box-to-box midfielder has been with PSG for 15 and has made over 150 Ligue 1 appearances for the club.

If Rabiot accepts the deal on the table from Juventus, then the Italian giants would have secured two midfielders on free transfers this summer, with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey also making the move to Turin at the end of the season.
