Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold have all been called up for Gareth Southgate’s 27-man squad ahead of the UEFA Nations League finals next month.
Southgate previously selected Henderson and Alexander-Arnold for the World Cup in Russia last summer, with Gomez missing out through injury.
The England manager will need to shorten the squad down to 23 players by 27 May.
Tottenham’s Harry Winks and Southampton’s Nathan Redmond are the surprise editions in the Three Lions squad.
Captain Harry Kane has been selected despite not playing since suffering an ankle injury.
With Liverpool and Tottenham playing in the Champions League final and Chelsea and Arsenal playing in the Europa League final, Southgate will most likely be keeping an eye on his players and their injuries during these games.
England play the Netherlands on the 6 June at the Estadio D. Afonso Henriques over in Portugal, with Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum likely to be in the opposing squad.
