Manchester United are considering joining Liverpool in the race to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
According to Talksport, via The Mirror, United could become active in their interest in Ndombele if Paul Pogba leaves Old Trafford this summer.
The report claims that PSG and Tottenham are also interested in the Lyon star, whilst Liverpool are also reportedly scouting him.
Liverpool are said to have watched Ndombele and made notes about his performance as Lyon beat Marseille 3-0 last weekend.
The French midfielder has been in impressive form for Lyon in Ligue 1 and the Champions League and is now attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Ndombele joined Lyon, initially on loan, in the summer of 2017 and signed permanently from Amiens for a fee of €8m.
He made his senior debut for France against Iceland in October 2018, coming on as a substitute for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, and has gone on to pick up three further caps.
