Jurgen Klopp has turned down Juventus’ advances, after the Serie A giants attempted to lure him to the club.
Massimiliano Allegri has announced that he will leave Juve at the end of the season, leading to speculation over who his successor will be.
The Italian champions have been rumoured to be admirers of Klopp, seeing him as a contender to replace Allegri.
Despite contacting the German about a move to Turin, journalist Tancredi Palmeri took to Twitter to say:
BOOM! Klopp has been contacted by Juventus, but with no consequence.
It is an undoubted boost for Liverpool, although there has never been too much fear surrounding Klopp’s future.
The 51-year-old is being tipped to sign a new long-term deal at Anfield after the Champions League final clash with Tottenham on June 1st.
Klopp is hoping to win his first trophy as Liverpool manager when the two sides meet in Madrid, having lost three finals in the Reds hot-seat to date.
After a superb league campaign, which saw title glory evade them but an incredible 97 points accumulated, they are favourites to be crowned European Champions for the first time since 2005.

It is easy to envisage him in the role at Juve, where he would be desperate to make them Champions League winners for the first time since 1996.

Pochettino is working wonders at Tottenham, but there continues to be speculation surrounding his future.
It would be a surprise if he left Spurs in the summer, but it is hard to completely rule it out.
