Liverpool not interested in signing Sergio Ramos
Liverpool are not interested in a deal to sign Real Madrid central defender Sergio Ramos this summer.
According to The Daily Star, via Sky Sports, Liverpool are not looking to bring Ramos to England in the coming months.
The report claims that Liverpool were touted with interest in Ramos, but the speculation has been rubbished – with the club feeling that Ramos does not fit the profile of player Jurgen Klopp wants in his squad.
Ramos has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer after 14 years at the Spanish club.
He joined Real from Sevilla in 2005 and has made over 600 appearances for the club in all competitions. In that time, he has managed to win 20 trophies for the club, including four Champions League titles.
Ramos has also amassed an incredible 163 caps for Spain at international level, helping his country win a World Cup and two European Championships.
