Liverpool may face competition from three other Premier League teams in the race to sign Allan Saint-Maximin from OGC Nice.
Previous reports suggested that the Ligue 1 club had slapped a €60 million price tag on the Frenchman’s head, with the Reds among those who had established an interest in signing him.
Speculation surrounding a possible move to Anfield has since quietened, but if Liverpool are to pursue a summer deal for the player, it seems they will not have a clear run at landing him.
According to claims from Nice-Matin, as cited by GFFN via Twitter, Premier League trio Everton, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are all eyeing Saint-Maximin.

The enigmatic winger could be on the move this summer, and with a plethora of top-flight clubs apparently in the race, a move to England appears to be a possibility.
Saint-Maximin, 22, chipped in with six goals and four assists for Nice as he featured in 33 Ligue 1 outings this season.
Other wingers who Liverpool should consider signing
Pepe has been outstanding for Lille. He would be an excellent signing for Liverpool.
Bergwijn is among the brightest young talents in the Netherlands. Liverpool should look to lure him away from PSV Eindhoven.
Sarr is enigmatic but boasts incredible potential. The Rennes winger would be a good signing.
Guedes could be a shrewd addition. He can play in a multitude of roles, and the Portugal international would add yet more creativity to the ranks at Anfield.
Ziyech had an incredible season at Ajax. He will leave the Dutch champions this summer, and Liverpool should pounce.
