Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge are the subject of interest from a host of Serie A clubs, according to Football Italia.
Liverpool have confirmed that the pair will leave Anfield this summer, having bowed out with Champions League glory.
Moreno has found himself well behind Andy Robertson in the left-back pecking order this season, while Sturridge also ended up becoming an increasingly peripheral figure.
The duo will not be without suitors, with 26-year-old Moreno at an age where he can still offer plenty, and Sturridge’s natural talent there for all to see.
Numerous Italian sides are reportedly “on the alert for a bargain” with regards to the two players, with Lazio, Roma, Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan all mentioned.
It is the correct decision for Liverpool to move Moreno and Sturridge on, but they leave as popular players, both with fans and their teammates.
Their exits are further proof of the level the Reds are now at – they would have been key men a few years ago.
