Ajax name price for Liverpool target Ziyech
Ajax have set their price tag for attacker Hakim Ziyech amid transfer speculation linking Liverpool and Arsenal with a move.
The Morocco international will reportedly be available for as little as £30million this summer, with Ajax expecting to lose one of their stars of last season.
The 26-year old was one of a number of key players to shine last season, particularly during the Dutch club’s terrific Champions League campaign.
Frenkie de Jong has already secured a move to Barcelona, while Matthijs de Ligt is wanted by a number of clubs this summer, including Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
Ajax director of football Marc Overmars confirmed last month that Ziyech would leave the Johan Cruyff Arena this summer, and De Telegraaf (as reported by Mirror Sport) claim that Roma have already submitted an offer.
The Dutch report also claims that Ziyech has currently not been attracted by any offers on the table so far.
Ziyech has previously spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League, claiming Arsenal are one of his dream clubs to sign for.
However, despite the Gunners having the advantage in that regard, Liverpool’s Champions League success would likely have more of a pull than Arsenal’s, with the London side having not qualified for the top European competition.
