Crystal Palace and Liverpool have held further talks over a potential deal for Nathaniel Clyne.

According to The Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are interested in signing Clyne this summer as they look to bring a right-back in before the start of the Premier League season.

The report claims that they are aiming to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who left the club to join Manchester United earlier this summer for £50m.

Clyne is not in Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the 2019/20 campaign and appears as though he is free to leave if the price is right.

The right-back is said to be open to a move to Crystal Palace, having started his career with the London club.

He spent the second-half of last season on loan to Bournemouth and enjoyed a good run of games under Eddie Howe, playing at right-back and left-back in the Premier League.

There is no mention of how much Liverpool are demanding for the England international.
