Trabzonspor goalkeeper Urgurcan Cakir has been linked with a move to Liverpool since last summer.
The Reds have been strongly linked once again this month and Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has confirmed that he has received bids for the shot-stopper from a few clubs and hinted that one of them may have come from Liverpool.

As quoted by the Metro, he said:
There are offers for Cakir, we continue to receive offers. It’s been said Liverpool have made an offer.
So a team that is undefeated in the Premier League wants my keeper. In other words, Liverpool’s goalkeeper is in my goal.
The goalkeeper made his international debut for Turkey last year and is understood to be valued at around £15m.

Liverpool already have Adrian as a back-up for Alisson Becker, so submitting an offer for Cakir is slightly surprising.
The Reds scouted Cakir earlier this season and it seems that they liked what they saw. He’s made 16 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig and is seemingly rated in Turkey as one of their best goalkeepers.
Personally, I’ve been a big fan of Adrian and would be surprised if he was replaced as the backup to Alisson, however, it could make sense for the Reds to bring in Cakir, make him third choice and potentiall allow 21-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher to go out on loan.
