Liverpool are one of three English clubs interested in signing Inter Milan centre back Milan Skriniar, according to a report from Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Slovakian international is also said to be on the radar of two of Liverpool’s most fierce rivals; Manchester City and Manchester United, whilst Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in him, but there are absolutely no indications that Inter have any intentions of selling the 25-year-old at this stage.
Skriniar has become a regular in the Inter side under manager Antonio Conte and given that he still has three years remaining on his deal, there Italian club have no reason to sell him unless a monster offer arrives.

Quite why Liverpool would be looking at centre-backs at the moment, especially ones who would cost a huge amount, makes little sense, given that the Reds currently have Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk in their ranks.
With Inter wanting to keep Skriniar and with him seemingly only available if a huge offer arrives, we’d be very, very shocked if the player arrived at Anfield this summer.
Skriniar has spoken in the past about how former Reds’ defender and fellow Slovakian international Martin Skrtel is one of his idols but even so, we don’t think that will make much of a difference here.
