Sergio Aguero is expected to miss Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Liverpool next month, according to the Independent.
The 32-year-old picked up a hamstring injury in City’s 1-1 draw at West Ham last weekend, leaving the pitch at half-time and not returning for the second half.
Aguero is set to be out of action for around a month, potentially acting as a boost to Liverpool.
The Premier League champions take on their title rivals in a crucial game at the Etihad on November 8th – one that could end up having a major bearing on who takes home the prize come May.

There is no denying that Aguero’s likely absence for the game is a major positive for Jurgen Klopp and his side, given the Argentine’s legacy in English football.
Not only is the striker a world-class player when fit and firing, but he has been the scourge of Liverpool on so many occasions down the years.
Aguero has scored seven times against the Reds at the Etihad, highlighting how he comes alive in the fixture.
A big-game player with a strong mentality, Liverpool will feel they have an immediate advantage without Aguero around.
That being said, Virgil van Dijk’s absence does even things up somewhat.
