Liverpool and Manchester City are both interested in signing Crystal Palace teenager Zion Atta, according to the Daily Mail.
The 16-year-old has shone in Palace’s youth system and has been the subject of interest for a while.
He made the move to Selhurst Park from Millwall at the age of just 13, costing the Eagles a guaranteed £60,000.
Although Palace have fought off the advances of various clubs, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach, Liverpool and City are back in the hunt for his signature.
Atta currently plays for England’s U16s, but is also eligible to represent Italy and the Ivory Coast.

The need for young homegrown players is always key, but even more so with the post-Brexit regulations, as the article states.
That gives an extra incentive for Liverpool to make a move for Atta, who is clearly a huge talent.
The teenager could thrive at the Reds’ academy, training alongside the senior stars at their new base in Kirkby.
Raheem Sterling was signed from QPR when he was just 15 – looking at what level he has got to now, the hope would be that Atta could enjoy a similar trajectory, hopefully not joining City later in his career, admittedly.
