Liverpool fans are excited as Fabinho and Thiago are seen doing gym work

A number of Liverpool supporters are hugely excited about the prospect of Fabinho and Thiago facing Leicester City this weekend, after the pair were shown doing gym work on Thursday evening.

The Reds head into Sunday’s visit of the Foxes with numerous injury problems, with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Mohamed Salah all definitely out.

There are also concerns over others, two of whom are Fabinho and Thiago.

The pair are arguably two of the best players in Europe in their respective roles, with Fabinho a monstrous No.6 who can also excel at centre-back, and Thiago a truly world-class playmaker.

It seemed as though the duo would not be available this weekend, but new images released on Thursday have given fans fresh reason for optimism.

Both Fabinho and Thiago were shown in Liverpool’s brand-new gym at the AXA Training Centre, suggesting they are progressing well from their respective injury issues.

Granted, they haven’t yet been seen on the training ground this week, but the signs are certainly encouraging.

These Liverpool fans were very excited on Twitter, talking up the idea of both featuring this weekend.
