Liverpool are hopeful that they will receive positive news about Jordan Henderson and Thiago in the next 24 hours, according to the Press Association‘s Carl Markham [via the Daily Mail].
The Reds cruised to a 3-0 victory at home to Leicester City on Sunday evening, despite suffering from a host of injury problems.
Henderson and Thiago were two of those who were unavailable at Anfield, as they both continue to recover from respective issues.
With Naby Keita the latest player to pick up an injury, there is now an even greater need to have both back available this week.
The next day or so is reportedly going to be pivotal in that respect, with Jurgen Klopp ‘hoping for some good news’ regarding his key duo.
Liverpool host Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday night, before making the trip to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

Having Henderson and Thiago back would be an enormous boost, helping ease the shortage in midfield.
Gini Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones could have be paired as a double pivot if they aren’t available this weekend, with James Milner and Fabinho filling in at the back currently.
The hope is that at least one of Henderson and Thiago will be back by the weekend, at least, ahead of what could be a tricky trip to Brighton.
Both are outstanding options for Klopp in the middle of the park and their return will make Liverpool even more formidable.
