Liverpool fans are excited as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continues injury comeback

Some Liverpool supporters are feeling positive after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was shown continuing his injury comeback in the gym.

In many ways, the 27-year-old has become something of a forgotten man at Anfield, following a lengthy layoff.

Oxlade-Chamberlain hasn’t played a single minute of action this season, having picking up a knee injury during pre-season.

There are signs that he is nearing a return to the fold, however, acting as a major boost to Jurgen Klopp.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been seen in and around Liverpool’s new AXA Training Centre regularly in the past week or so, even giving an entertaining guided tour of the Reds’ new home.

On Tuesday, Liverpool’s official Twitter account posted photos of the midfielder working hard in the gym, as he continues to recover from this latest setback.

With the matches coming thick and fast over the next month, and into the New Year, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s dynamism and versatility could be a vital addition to the squad.

The Englishman is a popular individual with the fans, with his outgoing personality making him easy to warm to.

It was, therefore, no great shock to see numerous Liverpool supporters show their love for Oxlade-Chamberlain on Twitter, hailing his imminent return to the team.
