Liverpool fans are delighted as 2,000 fans can watch Wolves game at Anfield

A number of Liverpool fans have been expressing their happiness, following the news that 2,000 supporters will be allowed at Anfield for their upcoming clash with Wolves.

On Thursday, the city of Liverpool was put into tier 2 in the new regulations surrounding the virus currently affecting the world.

It means a small percentage of fans will be allowed back into stadiums in those areas, once lockdown ends on December 2nd.

That means the Reds’ next home league game against Wolves, potentially now on December 6th at 7.15pm (GMT), will be the first time supporters have been inside Anfield since March.

That was when Liverpool were knocked out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, which now feels like a lifetime ago.

It has a been surreal year for the whole world and football has never felt the same without fans involved.

It has shown what a vital aspect of the game they are and it will be heartwarming to see 2,000 fanatics back inside Liverpool’s famous home early next month, and beyond.

These Liverpool supporters have been expressing their joy regarding the news, hoping they could even be one of the lucky ones to get a ticket for the visit of Wolves.
