Liverpool fans message Thiago urging him to be fit for Brighton game

A number of Liverpool supporters have responded to Thiago’s social media post, urging him to be available for the upcoming clash with Brighton.

The Reds meet the Seagulls in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime, with a draw or a win at the Amex Stadium taking Jurgen Klopp’s side top of the table.

Liverpool were beaten 2-0 at home to Atalanta on Wednesday night, however, in what was a hugely below-par performance.

It was a much-changed Reds starting lineup – one that once again didn’t feature Thiago in it.

The 29-year-old was an incredibly exciting summer signing from Bayern Munich, but he has been limited to just 135 minutes of action so far.

Thiago hasn’t played since being on the receiving end of a dreadful tackle by Richarlison in the Merseyside derby in mid-October, acting as a major blow to Liverpool.

There is still no confirmation regarding his return, but it is hoped that he could make the squad for the Brighton game.

On Thursday, Thiago took to Twitter to post a touching message of thanks to those at Liverpool and Bayern who have helped him this year:

These Reds fans were quick to respond to the post, willing him to be fit for the weekend action.
