A number of Liverpool fans are excited about the potential return of Naby Keita after Jurgen Klopp revealed he is closing in on a comeback.
It’s fair to say that Keita has largely underwhelmed in a Reds shirt to date, considering the hype that surrounded his arrival. In the eyes of some, Liverpool were signing one of the best midfielders in Europe, but he hasn’t come close to hitting those heights.
There have been plenty of good performances from the Guinean, but too many patchy showings have also been thrown in, and injuries have continually stunted his progress.
Keita was playing superbly in the recent 3-0 win over Leicester City at Anfield, only to once again leave the pitch prematurely. The 25-year-old hasn’t featured since, and with Liverpool hampered by other injuries, they desperately need him back.
The hope is that he will be back for the weekend visit of Wolves in the Premier League, although he hasn’t completely been ruled out of tonight’s Champions League clash with Ajax.

Hard to understand fully what Klopp meant but it seemed like an indication that Naby was being checked for tomorrow, so should be back soon and that Trent (reading between lines) could be ready for the weekend, Shaq also.
