“He’s back” – Robertson hails Alexander-Arnold’s return to training

Andy Robertson has sent a brilliant two-word response regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold’s return to Liverpool training.

Alexander-Arnold has been absent since the 1-1 draw away to Manchester City last month, having picked up a calf injury during the game.

Thankfully, the right-back is expected to feature against Wolves on Sunday evening, as Liverpool host Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the Premier League.

Alexander-Arnold returned to training earlier in the week, and taking to Twitter on Friday, Robertson was clearly delighted to be back alongside his good friend, simply saying “he’s back”, along with a photo of them:

This sums up the magnificent team spirit that exists at Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp creating arguably an unrivalled togetherness in his players.

Alexander-Arnold and Robertson bounce off each other brilliantly, not only thriving on the pitch at full-back, but also proving to be inseparable off it, even having their own show called ‘Wingmen’ these days.

Liverpool’s success isn’t only down to having world-players throughout the squad, though. It’s also the close bond that exists between them, with everyone pulling in the same direction.
