Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool have no new injuries problems, but also said absent players are no closer to returning.
The Reds are in Champions League action on Wednesday night, making the trip to Midtjylland for their final Group D clash.
It is a dead rubber, however, with Klopp’s men thankfully already through to the last-16, meaning the manager can rest players ahead of upcoming Premier League matches against Fulham (a), Tottenham (h) and Crystal Palace (a).
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Klopp confirmed that he has no new fitness issues:
Nobody suffered any kind of problems, injuries from the last game. On the other side, nobody is close enough to return to the squad.

There does seem to be a feeling that Liverpool’s injury woes are slowly easing, having suffered rotten luck in that department of late.
While injured stars may not be back in the fold just yet, the squad is beginning to look more healthy, especially with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita back fit.
It would be a big shock if Klopp played a strong team against Midtjylland, keeping his key men wrapped in cotton wool for more important games coming up.
