Liverpool fans mock Aaron Wan-Bissaka after embarrassing back-heel attempt

Some Liverpool fans have been mocking Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, following one embarrassing moment that again shows he isn’t on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s level.

Wan-Bissaka joined United from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019, arriving as a highly-rated prospect.

As a young English right-back, it didn’t take long for comparisons with Alexander-Arnold to start.

From the off, some United supporters have been to keen to say the pair are on the same level, even suggesting Wan-Bissaka is superior, especially in a defensive sense.

Alexander-Arnold is a generational talent, however, proving to be the playmaker for one of the greatest Liverpool teams of all time, doing it all from right-back.

In contrast, Wan-Bissaka is looking an increasingly erratic presence in United’s defence, being caught out of position in their 3-2 defeat to RB Leipzig on Tuesday night, which saw them knocked out of the Champions League.

One hilarious moment summed up his lack of technical ability, too, with his attempt at a back-heel going horribly wrong.

These Liverpool fans were quick to mock it on Twitter, with many making sure they brought up the Alexander-Arnold comparison at the same time.
