Club Brugge have emerged as contenders to sign Divock Origi in January, according to Voetbal 24 [via Sport Witness].
The 25-year-old has become increasingly out of favour at Liverpool these days, with his attacking teammates performing at a far higher level. Origi has featured for only one minute in the Premier League this season, while his performances in the Carabao Cup and Champions League have invariably flattered to deceive.
It could be that Liverpool are willing to offload the Belgian in January and Club Brugge, whose Champions League campaign came to an agonising end in midweek, are interested in bringing him back to his homeland. It is mentioned that Origi might not be open to a temporary deal, however, suggesting a loan move could be all that Brugge can offer.

Brought to the club by Brendan Rodgers six years ago, Origi’s status as a Liverpool cult hero, if not a legend, is undeniable, following his exploits in 2018/19. The striker scored memorable goals against Tottenham, Barcelona, Newcastle and Everton – moments which will never be forgotten.
That being said, the 25-year-old no longer feels a useful part of this Liverpool squad, too often looking out of sync with his teammates.
It would be a big surprise if he was still at Anfield next season, but if Brugge were to offer a fee for him, a January exit could also make sense, generating funds for a new signing.
