The Reds face major competition from both Manchester clubs for the Brazilian, whilst Leeds United remain keen to see their key man remain at Elland Road next season.

Signed for £16.72million (Transfermarkt) from French Ligue 1 side Stanne Rennais, the uncapped Brazilian scored eight times and registered 11 assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
Described as an ‘exciting’ player by former Liverpool icon Emile Heskey, Klopp would likely welcome the talented star into the squad at Anfield to act as competition for the established front three along with Diogo Jota.

With Leeds understandably steadfast on keeping their asset, the Reds would have to shell out a small fortune in order to make the deal a reality.
Valued at £22.5million and under contract until 2024 (Transfermarkt), it would take an offer containing a substantial profit in order to force the Yorkshire club’s hand.
There is perhaps scope for the club to use some fringe players as a makeweight, with the likes of Divock Origi and Harry Wilson both potentially becoming part of any transfer.
