Liverpool prepare £32m bid for Brazilian winger with 19 G/A last season

With the season finally at a close, the Reds have already started their work in the transfer market this summer.

Just three days ago the club announced the signing of French centre-back Ibrahima Konaté.

It has also been reported this morning that the club is set to announce the signing of Patson Daka in the next few days.

Both players are of fantastic quality and would provide some great depth and competition for the current squad.

However, another player is reportedly of interest to the club with them already submitting a bid.

According to Mercado Ingles on Twitter, Liverpool have submitted a bid of £32million for Leeds United’s Raphinha…

As cited by Watch LFC on Twitter, the club have an offer in place for the winger.

The Brazilian has been fantastic in the Premier League during his debut season with the West Yorkshire club.

From 38 games this season, Raphinha managed 19 goals/assists with 15 of those in the Premier League alone.

He has adapted incredibly well to life in England and has impressed during his first campaign for Leeds.

At just 24-years-old, Raphinha has plenty of years left in the game ad could become a great player for the club.

He would no doubt provide some welcome competition for Mohamed Salah as well as relieve him of some pressure.

The Egyptian is an ever-present in the starting XI and deserves the rest from time to time.
